God's gifts are His divine ideas. The universe has it's foundation in ideas that are in the Mind of God. In order to bring God's ideas into manifestation in our world, we must express them. We are God's helpers, and it is our duty to find His ideas in Spirit and then to bring them into activity in our daily life. All good ideas come from God, but when we use His ideas, we should let Him guide us in the right way to use them. Any idea may come to us to do something that we have never done before; but if we allow our personal feelings to influence us, we may go about the attainment of our ideas in the wrong way. Our negative emotions, such as fear, hate, jealousy, suspicion, doubt, and the like, may direct us in a narrow way where in we may forget to include the Spirit to back the idea. If we ask God to direct us when we begin working out new ideas, He will show us a better way, which will help us to proceed lovingly, unselfishly, peacefully, harmoniously, courageously, and faithfully, and enable us to find joy, satisfaction, and success in the attainment of the idea. Prosperity really means that we are able to appreciate and use God's spiritual ideas of abundance. These ideas include not only infinite spiritual goodness, but manifest goodness, intelligence, harmony, peace, love, and substance. When we stir up the gift of God within us, we shall not need to worry about anything in the world. Our Father God has created substance and goodness enough to supply all of His children's needs forever. (The Prayer Way to Health, Wealth, and Happiness by Lowell Fillmore)
