First Sunday Food Drive

The first Sunday of each month has been designated as First Sunday Food Drive to help benefit the Westside Concerned Citizens Coalition’s food boxes on Anderson’s west side. Volunteer groups that help fill these boxes are the PB&J Patrol and A Gathering of Queens/765 Food Desert Project. Each month one of these groups will be given the food we collect. Please bring a non-perishable item to donate. Needed items include canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, and protein foods including peanut butter, tuna, canned pasta, and beef stews. Annotations from the Church Library

Good Morning, Friends! I am happy to announce that the library has been brought up to date. The bookshelves are labeled so you can find a book in alphabetical order by the author’s or translator’s family name. Each book has been stamped as belonging to the library and has a pocket and card in either the front or back cover. (Our preference from now on will be to put the card/pocket inside the front cover.)
