Palm Sunday: The Power of Life

Palm Sunday will be a very full Sunday as we complete the last of the 12 powers, Life, and embrace Palm Sunday, the kick off to Holy Week. Holy Week affects each of us differently, depending on your childhood religion and how well you embrace metaphysics. I remember as a child seeing the movie Ben Hur as a class trip. The Power of Elimination

How wonderful it was to be back in church in person last Sunday! I look forward to more reconnecting as we move forward. We are coming into the home stretch on the 12 Powers of Man . The Power of Zeal

March 13 — We are back in person this Sunday at 11 a.m.! I can hardly wait to see your eyes and to know that you are smiling behind that mask!! This week’s power is zeal. There is a power within us that we can call forth when we need it. The power lies dormant until we call it forth.…

It was changed because of the confusion over the word judgment having a negative connotation. We use judgment in our lives on a daily basis.  Fillmore says: Judgment is the mental act of evaluation through comparison or contrast. Do I want to wear the green sweater or the blue one? Is this job right for me? Do I really not want to go or am I making excuses? We will examine the…
