Alcoholics Anonymous is an international mutual aid fellowship, with the stated "primary purpose" of enabling alcoholics to become and remain sober and help other alcoholics to do them same through its spiritually inclined Twelve Steps program. AA meets at 5 p.m. Mondays at Unity Church of Anderson.
A Course in Miracles
Tuesdays at 7 p.m. A Course in Miracles is a 1976 book by Helen Schucman. The underlying premise is that the greatest miracle is the act of simply gaining a full awareness of love's presence in one's own life. Schucman wrote that the book had been dictated to her, word for word, via inner dictation from Christ.
